Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness – Mark Twain

The year 2020 will long be remembered as a disaster for many reasons, not the least of which are the restrictions imposed and which still are in place for certain countries.

Travel is now allowed with dozens of countries between the U.K. and those countries where Covid-19 is “under control” and there are reciprocal arrangements. However, facial cover is required and common sense precautions taken when travelling and in the resorts at the destination.

A notable exception is the United States where Covid-19 is spreading seemingly out of control with it would appear poor leadership compared to the rest of the developed countries.

The situation is dynamic and it is essential to check with appropriate government and travel authorities to get the latest updates.

Understandably there has been a resurgence in holidays within the U.K. and with the weather seemingly getting better year on year who can fault that given the beauty of the British countryside and coastline, lovely villages and friendly welcoming people.
